Experience:
Since 1963, has been actively engaged in the appraisal of real estate. Assignments have included appraisals of residential, apartment,
commercial and industrial properties throughout the Chicago Metropolitan Area. These assignments have been for financial institutions, insurance
companies, various corporations, attorneys and employee relocation companies.
From 1963 to 1971 was the Staff Appraiser and the Senior Property Manager at the Continental Illinois National Bank and Trust Company of Chicago.
In 1971 he was hired by St. Charles Savings and Loan Association to be their Chief Appraiser. After two years, he was promoted to the position of Vice President in charge of their Mortgage Department. He left in 1985 to form ValuMasters, Inc.
From 1985 to July, 2004, President of ValuMasters, Inc., St. Charles, IL, a Real Estate Appraisal company. He is the founder of ValuMasters, Inc. and is currently serving as an appraiser as well as an appraisal consultant. He is also a REALTOR® and the Managing Broker for Schulenburg Realty, Inc., St. Charles, Illinois.
Affiliations:
Senior Residential Appraiser, Appraisal Institute, from June, 1969 through December 31, 2007 and held the professional designation, "SRA".
Although he has recertified his designation, he elected not to continue his membership in the Appraisal Institute and resigned his membership in good standing,
Accredited Senior Appraiser, American Society of Appraisers, from 1963 through September 30, 2005 and held the professional designation "ASA", Certificate #2715, was Chicago Chapter President in 1974-75 and Illinois State Director in 1975-76. Although his designation with ASA had been recertified thru July 1, 2006, he elected not to renew his membership in the American Society of Appraisers and left in good standing.
Former member, Illinois Association of Certified Real Estate Appraisers, and designated a "Certified Real Estate Appraiser",
Certificate #129. He had held several offices in this organization.
Founding Member, Real Estate Appraisal Section of the National Association of REALTORS®,
and designated an "RAA", Residential Accredited Appraiser, Certificate #224.
Member, The Foundation of Real Estate Appraisers.
Member, Illinois Coalition of Appraisal Professionals
Served as Member and Director of the St. Charles Chamber of Commerce from 1976-1982
- President, 1981, and Chairman of the Board, 1982. Currently is a Chamber Ambassador and was 1996 President of the "Ambassador Club."
Member, The Gideon's International , and was President of the Kane North Camp
from 1997 thru 1999. He is currently President of the Tri-Cities Camp.
